We started our month in the most amazing villa in Sicily with Dave's family. Such a wonderful and special week with amazing company and delicious food!
Annual leave
April is the month of escaping from work and using most of my annual leave for the year! We've been so lucky to escape a lot of April showers and see such beautiful places as a family.
Nature and new shoes
We spent a lot of time outside in April and I got some new (to me) shoes and these also got to spend a lot of time outside with me.
Delicious
I can't even count how much good food I have eaten this month! We've introduced baby to Sicilian oranges and lemons, pizza, pasta, tapas, Spanish tomatoes, jackfruit, @steffina's Filipino Lugaw, and some homemade pasta made with the most breathtaking backdrop I will ever have!
Events
Eimear's hen, postponed birthdays, pizza parties, 11 year anniversary... There was a lot to celebrate this month!
Relax
Lots of annual leave definitely helped me with this one! My second trip to a spa didn't disappoint either—and combined with lots of time for headspace, screen-free time, and starting to draw again, I finally had time to relax.
Sunsets
The Sicilian sunsets were out of this world. Every night we had a different colourful painting to wine and dine to.
